An Article Worth Reading….

I get so many email newsletters, that it is hard to spend the time really reading through what others have spent the time to say.  I must say though, that the effort I am trying to make in actually reading these is paying off.

I came across this article, written by Denise Robitaille who contributes to Quality Digest, regarding the importance of documentation.  It is expertly written with some whit and fact.  As I have spent my entire career writing documentation, I found this article a great way to make the point of the importance in proper and effective documentation.  I am sure this will get shared (with permission of course) to many of our clients!

They’re Everywhere, They’re Everywhere! - "Documents and evidence, that is "- by Denise Robitaille

Many of us quality professionals have been teased by our families on more than one occasion for applying quality principles to everyday life. “I know you said you did your homework, but I’d like to see the evidence.” Admit it; many of you have been caught using quality speak around the house. Others have used planning or improvement initiatives to handle chores and projects.  - http://qualitydigest.com/IQedit/QDarticle_text.lasso?articleid=12466
